More than 23 years ago, when Kelly Zuger moved to Madison Park from Redmond, she quickly realized why some areas demand a premium for the value of lifestyle they offer.
The old real estate adage, “location, location, location” clicked, lighting the spark that ignited her real estate career. “Growing up in a family-owned mortgage business, my experience in high-end retail and airline customer service, and a continued fascination with changing Seattle neighborhoods made real estate a natural fit,” she says. “It’s an ever-evolving industry, always offering opportunities for me to grow as a professional.”
Confident and accessible, she credits much of her success to an ability to connect and read people quickly, which serves her well in relationships with clients and negotiations with fellow agents. “I want to understand what’s motivating everyone in the transaction,” she explains.
Though she knows the entire Seattle region well, Zuger has spent the last several years going deep into West Seattle. She moved to Alki Beach during the pandemic and has since built her practice under the KellyinAlki banner. “Specializing has been so incredibly fulfilling,” she says. “I love my neighborhood and investing this deeply has paid dividends both financially and relationally.”
She keeps busy serving as a board member at the Center for Active Living in the junction, and president of the WestSide Professionals Chapter of Business Networking International. Those roles also keep her “in the know” about all things West Seattle. “If you need a referral for a small business in West Seattle, I have one,” she says.
Away from business, Zuger attends live music events and enjoys traveling across the Pacific Northwest with her partner Rachel, and their two pups, and spending time with her two grown children.
