For Kenneth B. Cox and Maryanne Cox, mortgage lending is about much more than financing a home. It’s about educating people, building lasting relationships and helping families make confident decisions about their future.
As a father-daughter team with Rate, Kenneth and Maryanne serve buyers, sellers, investors, veterans and families at every stage of the homeownership journey. Their philosophy is simple: education comes first.
A veteran himself, Kenneth has spent decades helping service members understand and maximize their VA home loan benefits. Together, he and Maryanne also provide workshops and guidance on credit improvement, budgeting, investing and preparing for homeownership.
“We want people to walk away feeling informed and empowered,” Kenneth says. “Sometimes one conversation can completely change what someone believes is possible.”
Kenneth entered the mortgage industry more than 45 years ago after serving in the military and graduating from college. Maryanne joined the family business in 2000 and has proudly continued the legacy alongside her father.
“I grew up watching my dad help people achieve something incredibly meaningful,” Maryanne says. “Being able to work beside him and help families reach their own homeownership goals is something I’m very proud of.”
Today, their focus remains personal: providing honest guidance, dependable communication and the tools clients need to succeed. For Kenneth and Maryanne, success isn’t measured only by loans closed; it’s measured also by families educated, veterans served, relationships built and doors opened along the way.
