Carese Busby purchased her first home at 18, launching a lifelong passion for real estate and finance. A second-generation mortgage professional, Busby began working at her father’s mortgage company, where she learned early the power of homeownership, investing and intentional financial decision-making. After earning a finance degree and working in the investment industry, she returned to mortgage lending.
More than two decades later, she helps clients understand not only how to secure the right mortgage, but also how real estate and financing fit into their broader financial goals. A lifelong student of the markets, Busby closely follows economic trends, interest rates, housing and investing. She works with everyone from first-time homebuyers to experienced investors, focusing on both today’s decision and tomorrow’s opportunity.
“My goal has never been simply to close a loan,” Busby says. “I want my clients to understand why they’re making a financial decision, how it fits into the bigger picture and how they can make their money work harder for them over time than they did for it.”
That philosophy has expanded her work into financial education through speaking, videos, podcasting and her trademarked Queen Bee Method™, which she describes as a modern, values-based approach to building wealth with real estate and beyond.
Busby is a nine-time Five Star Mortgage Professional and seven-time Scotsman Guide Top 1% Mortgage Originator. She proudly works for Movement Mortgage, whose Impact Lending platform gives up to 49% of the profit on every closed loan to fund grants to employee-nominated nonprofits through its KM Foundation. Busby herself has helped direct $20,000 in grants to REST, a Seattle-area organization assisting sex-trafficking survivors.
At the center of her work is a simple belief: Wealth is built not only by earning more, but also by making thoughtful decisions with the money you’ve worked hard to earn.
