Andrew Jackson, a managing broker at Compass, has been delivering world-class service and results to buyers, sellers and investors in the Greater Seattle and Eastside areas for 28 years. Dually licensed in California, he connects clients from the Pacific Northwest to desert living in the Greater Palm Springs area.
Jackson came to real estate from the hospitality industry, where the face-to-face client interactions that he thought he’d have as a corporate hotel manager soon gave way to office work and spreadsheets. He quickly pivoted to real estate, which gave him the human connection he craved and the opportunity to combine his operations background with his sincere desire to help others in the city where he grew up.
The Seattle native lives in the Issaquah area. But he was raised on Mercer Island, lived in Green Lake and once enjoyed the downtown condominium life. Over the years, he’s witnessed local developments grow and change, making him an expert at matching clients with communities perfectly suited for them.
Jackson starts each client relationship with an intake meeting to learn the person’s wants and needs and put together a plan to help them achieve their real estate goals. He educates clients about the current market, intel necessary to help them decide whether now is a good time to make a move or if it’s best to hold off. He leads with integrity and clear communication and won’t hesitate to let clients know if he thinks they are making the wrong decision. Based on his own experience building and remodeling homes, he also can recommend potential upgrades to a home, as well as estimate cost to determine if it’s worth it.
Of building a business based mostly on repeat and referral customers, he says, “Do what is best for people, and they will support you.”
