Purchasing her first home in 1997 without clear guidance left Kim Dang in an overpriced mortgage, sparking a determination to master loan options from the ground up. Over two decades into her lending career, that early lesson drives her dedication to ensure her clients never have to experience one of the biggest investments in their life blindly.
Before entering mortgage lending, Dang spent 35 years as an emergency room and geriatric nurse. That career continues to influence her work. She brings a caregiver’s mindset to lending, emphasizing calm, caring, transparent communication and practical solutions when circumstances become complicated.
Her clients now include first-time homebuyers, move-up buyers, self-employed borrowers, investors, veterans and physicians. She holds additional expertise in conventional, jumbo, VA, FHA, portfolio and refinancing options as well as down payment assistance programs. She serves clients nationwide, with strong focus on the Puget Sound region, including Seattle, Bellevue, Renton, Redmond, Kirkland, Tacoma and surrounding communities.
Much of Dang’s business comes through referrals from past clients, real estate agents and companies, as well as her community network. Her relationship-driven approach and solution-oriented mindset enable her to assist her clients with trust, confidence and clarity throughout their home-financing journey.
Dang is a member of the Seattle Asian American Real Estate Association and earned rank among Bank of America’s President’s Club from 2017-2021. She also supports charitable organizations supporting Kenya and Vietnam. Dang enjoys hosting enjoyable meals for family and friends, hiking and playing pickleball. Her approach to success is simple: treat every borrower like family, advocate for their best interest and protect their investment as if it was her own.
