Inspired by her mother to enter the profession, Andrea M. Chatard first worked as a staff member at a prominent brokerage and a listing coordinator before joining her mother at Coldwell Banker Bain as her buyer’s agent and licensed assistant. She also served on an HOA board for more than 12 years, which directly informs her niche expertise in Seattle’s in-city condominiums, townhomes and single-family homes. Today, she serves clients throughout King and Snohomish counties.
Chatard’s approach is straightforward: “I advise, but you decide.” She believes clients deserve honest advice, even when it may not be what they want to hear, and she takes the time to meet personally with clients for an intake session before beginning the buying or selling process. Her business is built largely through referrals, repeat clients, her sphere and community networking. She works with first-time homebuyers, downsizers and clients who need larger homes to accommodate changing personal or family needs. “I have built my business on a commitment to honesty and integrity with the goal of building strong relationships with my clients,” she says.
A Pacific Northwest resident for most of her life, Chatard understands the communities she serves from personal experience. She holds the ABR designation and At Home with Diversity certification, is a licensed instructor in Washington and has been a Coldwell Banker award winner from 2012 to 2025. She is active with The Greater Seattle Chapter of The Links, Inc., Western Washington Realtist (NAREB), the LGBTQ+ Alliance and promotes personal health as a two-time breast cancer survivor.
Chatard is also passionate about fair housing and housing affordability for all. When she’s not serving as a trusted advocate for her clients and community, the self-described foodie enjoys discovering restaurants and learning about different cultures through food.
