Award-winning real estate agent Ramona Jones, founder of The Jones Group at Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty, fell in love with old historic homes as a child while living in North Capitol Hill. “Trick-or-treating along Federal Avenue was more to get a glimpse of the interiors than the actual loot,” Jones reminisces. “As I grew older, I’d visit open houses and mock up floor plans for my future home.”
After living in the South Sound suburbs for a time and now residing in downtown Seattle’s West Edge neighborhood, Jones has developed an understanding of the city’s distinct neighborhoods and idiosyncrasies. With 25 years of industry experience, she considers strategic negotiation to be her superpower.
Jones provides full-service representation to buyers, sellers and investors in the Greater Seattle metro area, including downtown Seattle, the Queen Anne and Capitol Hill neighborhoods, and the South Sound area. Whether she’s assisting a first-time buyer or seasoned investor, her clients know she’ll help them achieve their goals. “I have a full-time administrative assistant — my daughter Katja — who handles the backend of the business so my focus can be on my people,” she explains. “It feels a lot like a friendship, and we do stay in touch!”
Jones tends to be more productive when her plate is full. “I recently pulled off a major remodel of my personal home of over 20 years, downsized my life and moved into my downtown Seattle condo, which also needed renovation,” she shares. “I did it all while maintaining a full client load and not missing a beat!”
Outside of work, Jones enjoys exploring historical buildings, local attractions, art galleries, farmers’ markets and Seattle’s food scene. She and Katja enjoy local events and are Seattle Opera season ticket holders.
