John L. Scott Ballard acquires Westwood affiliate office

by Patrick Regan

The John L. Scott Ballard/Madrona Group affiliate office has acquired John L. Scott Westwood in West Seattle.

The move adds 51 brokers to the Madrona Group roster, which now has a broker count of 67.

The John L. Scott Madrona Group is a franchise office that uses a hybrid approach, with a physical office in the Ballard neighborhood and brokers working virtually from Seattle to Snohomish County.

Scott and Chantille Henry previously owned the John L. Scott Westwood affiliate office, established in 2005. As part of the transition, Scott Henry will remain the managing broker of the office for one year. Once the year is up, Henry will go back to working full-time as an agent with his son Daniel.

“It’s been a pleasure to grow and lead the John L. Scott Westwood office over the years,” Scott Henry said in a news release. “The time is right for me and Chantille to transition into the next phase of our lives, and we are thrilled to pass the torch to … the Madrona Group.”

Joe Kiser, who is a co-owner of the Ballard office alongside Jason Fox, said the Madrona Group is closely aligned with the family-like culture built over 17 years at Westwood.

“Our two offices align perfectly culture-wise,” Kiser. “In addition to cultivating a friendly culture between brokers, our team is focused on relationship building and excellence in real estate.”

John L. Scott has over 100 offices with more than 3,000 brokers in Washington, Oregon, Idaho and California.
