What was your most interesting job before going into real estate?
Founding Jason Fox Real Estate Marketing

Where did you grow up?
Everett, WA

Growing up, what did you want to be?
A lawyer or an architect.

What do you do to relax when you’re stressed?
Take a walk, meditate or play a game of Madden.

If you could meet any well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why?
Warren Buffet. I think it would be fascinating to learn just a little of what he knows about the world.

What is Seattle’s best-kept secret?
Warren G. Magnuson Park. It is the second largest park in Seattle and the site of an old Navy base. It offers access to Lake Washington and an amazing dog park along with many other things.

What do you love most about the industry?
It gives me the freedom to be available for my family.

How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents?
I am the co-founder of a team that specializes in residential resale from Seattle to Snohomish County or wherever you are. We offer each home buyer a consultation to show them how we find them the perfect home for the least amount of money. We offer each home seller a consultation to show them how we sell their home faster and for more money.

What is the most difficult aspect of your job?
Marketing the office to ensure that we continue to find new clients to assist.

What’s your best advice for generating new leads?
Find your niche and pick a marketing tool or three that you are able to stay consistent with.

What has been your greatest accomplishment?
Becoming a John L Scott affiliate owner.

What are you binge-watching/reading/listening to lately?
My wife and I just started the show Yellowstone.

What’s your favorite meal in Seattle?
My favorite right now is Asadero Ballard.

Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Seattle?
The Seattle Public Library. It stands out.

What’s the weirdest thing that’s ever happened to you on the job?
Being told a home was empty, knocking on the door and announcing myself, showing the home and flipping on the bedroom light to see the owner sleeping in bed. He did not wake up.

What’s one thing people are surprised to learn about you?
I played Stanley Kowalski in “A Street Car Named Desire” in college.

What is your favorite vacation spot and why?
Having lived in the Seattle area most of my life, I crave the sunshine and love the water. We try to find sunny places with water.

In 10 words or less, what is your advice for someone new to the industry?
Choose a good CRM to assist you in building relationships.

What’s your favorite real estate iPhone/Android app?
Sierra Interactive, it is my CRM.

Who are your favorite people to follow on social media?
My friends and family.
