What was your most interesting job before going into real estate?
I worked as a flight attendant for just over a year after graduating university.

An investigative journalist
What do you do to relax when you’re stressed?
Listen to audiobooks. Deep breathing. A good iced coffee goes a long way, too.
If you could meet any well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why?
Chris Martin of Coldplay. Love their music and have a fondness for Britons after having lived in the United Kingdom for a period of time.
What is Seattle’s best-kept secret?
Hui Lau Shan and their mango chewy ball dessert. A must-try for my fellow dessert junkies!
What do you love most about the industry?
The people. I love meeting people and hearing their stories.
How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents?
My process and love of the job. I find that a highly organized plan of execution works every time and gives clients confidence. I love what I do, and my hope is that energy radiates and energizes my clients for what’s ahead.
What is the most difficult aspect of your job?
Finding the time to also be the full-time marketer of my business.
What’s your best advice for generating new leads?
Small, thoughtful gestures and just being good to others. Simple.
What has been your greatest accomplishment?
My family … meeting my husband, the love of my life, and creating a family together.
What are you binge-watching/reading/listening to lately?
At the moment, I’m reading “Spare,” by Prince Harry. Just finished “No Ordinary Dog,” the true story of the dog who helped Seal Team 6 in one of the most dangerous and infamous military operations of our time.
What’s your favorite meal in Seattle?
Royal Grinders sandwiches in Fremont … best sandwich I’ve ever tasted! Cafe Lago is also a favorite. I’m also a sucker for a good açai bowl.
Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Seattle?
The first brick building in historic downtown Snoqualmie, now the home of Buckshot Honey Texas BBQ. It was built in 1923.
What’s the weirdest thing that’s ever happened to you on the job?
During an open house, a gentleman used the toilet in a half bath with no door while other visitors were exploring the home.
What’s one thing people are surprised to learn about you?
I had a 15-year career as a classical ballet dancer.
What is your favorite vacation spot and why?
Maui, because it feels like our family’s home away from home.
