After a wide-ranging career path that took her from teaching English in Thailand to producing celebrity and fashion photography in New York, Jessica Andrew Burns found her true calling in the mortgage industry. Encouraged by her mother, who was also a lender, she applied for an entry-level position and quickly discovered a profession that combined her love of people with her analytical strengths.
Now with 13 years in the business, Burns serves as branch leader and senior loan officer at Movement Mortgage, where she is licensed in Washington, Oregon, California, Montana, Texas and Florida. She specializes in solutions for buyers upsizing or downsizing without contingent offers, as well as strategies for maximizing self-employed income and structuring asset-based income models. Her approach blends patience, education and empowerment, ensuring that clients understand their options and feel confident in their decisions.
Clients consistently describe Burns as calming, fun and thorough — an advisor who takes the time to answer questions while making the process enjoyable. She has earned repeat business and referrals by prioritizing trust and long-term relationships, and she is especially proud of the many agents, financial advisors and attorneys who rely on her to represent their clients with care and professionalism. Her achievements have been recognized with the Five Star Professional award for six consecutive years (2020–2025) and a feature in Fortune magazine.
In addition to serving her clients, Burns manages and coaches a branch of talented loan officers, finding fulfillment in their collective growth. Her greatest inspiration, however, comes from home. She is a devoted wife and proud mother of three boys and is motivated by showing them that women can be both strong and successful.
