Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty named Scott Hannaman its vice president of brand and marketing. Hannaman departs Coldwell Banker Bain after a decade in marketing leadership roles.
Hannaman’s expertise includes brand strategy, creative direction, advertising, broker and listing marketing, campaign development and incorporation of new technology. In his new role with RSIR, he’ll focus on expanding the brokerage’s internal agency model and leading marketing strategies.
“Great marketing still needs to earn attention, create an emotional connection and move people to action,” Hannaman said in a press release. “The tools available to us are changing incredibly quickly, but the objective hasn’t changed. Technology gives us new ways to accomplish that work at a scale and speed we couldn’t have imagined several years ago, while allowing talented people to spend more time on the creative and human work that actually differentiates a brand.”
Hannaman’s appointment coincides with RSIR’s new goal of reaching 500 real estate advisors and $5 billion in annual sales by the end of 2029. The brokerage recently merged with Marketplace Sotheby’s International Realty, upping its broker count to approximately 375.
“We’re not hiring for the company we are. We’re building the company we intend to become,” said President and CEO Dean Jones. “Reaching the next level of our organization requires more than adding brokers and offices. It requires investing in the brand, technology, marketing infrastructure and advisor services that make those brokers more productive and our clients’ experiences more valuable.”
