Marketplace Sotheby’s International Realty has merged and consolidated with Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty. The combined entity will continue to operate under the Realogics Sotheby’s name.
The addition of MSIR’s operations in Redmond, Woodinville and Bothell into the RSIR fold gives the brokerage an 80% share of Sotheby’s International Realty sales in the Northwest Multiple Listing Service.

Chad Shriner, president, owner and principal broker of MSIR, will continue to serve as a managing broker and join RSIR’s Steering Committee.
“I’m elated to bring our individual trajectories together,” Dean Jones, owner and CEO of RSIR, said in a press release. “Chad Shriner and I have known and respected one another since the inception of our brokerages. This alignment grants Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty greater service area within the broader Puget Sound housing market.”
“Dean Jones has demonstrated what it looks like to engineer an enterprise platform around the success of its brokers, rather than competing with them,” Shriner added. “Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty offers us the scale, infrastructure, marketing, education, referrals, new development opportunities and global connectivity that can help our agents take their businesses further. We believe this is the right brand, in the right place, at the right time. We are better together as the market reaches an important inflection point.”
The merger brings over 100 MSIR brokers to RSIR. The brokerage now spans nine offices in the region, with approximately 375 advisors, 50 employees and contractors and over $1 billion in active inventory.
Tammy Fahmi, senior vice president of global strategy for Sotheby’s International Realty, called the merger “a terrific melding of talent.”
“Sotheby’s International Realty is proud to support the continued expansion of Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty’s operations through a long-term affiliation,” Fahmi said. “Dean has shown the kind of leadership that builds lasting businesses, and we are confident momentum will further strengthen an important global gateway region for our network.”
