Samantha Enos named as Windermere VP of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

by Emily Mack

Samantha Enos has been named the first vice president of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) at Windermere Real Estate. In this recently developed role, Enos will work to advance Windermere’s DEI efforts, overall, which includes supporting individual Windermere offices with DEI strategies and programs. Reaching beyond Windermere, too, Enos aims to advance DEI within the real estate industry at large.

Enos has worked as a Windermere agent since 2019, and she is part of the company’s internal DEI committee. She also serves on the Seattle-King County REALTORS Board of Directors, where she was recently appointed as the Chairperson of the Seattle-King County REALTORS® DEI committee.

Of her promotion to Windermere’s VP of DEI, Enos said, “I am incredibly proud to work for a company that is committed to social change. I’m excited about this opportunity because it will allow me to promote homeownership in BIPOC communities, help guide more diverse individuals towards a real estate career and help Windermere offices get more involved in their communities.” She looks forward to both maintaining Windermere’s DEI progress and generating new opportunities.

Over the past year, Windermere has made significant efforts to increase diversity, according to Windermere Real Estate President OB Jacobi. These efforts include creating an internship program with the University of Washington, implementing a down payment assistance fund for BIPOC home buyers and founding a scholarship program to attract new agents of color to Windermere. “But along the way we realized that we need a leader who can evangelize for us and help drive long-lasting change,” Jacobi said. “I can’t wait to see where Samantha’s contributions lead us.”
