By the time Diana Bowar earned her economics degree from the University of Washington, she had already begun the career that would lead to her current role as vice president of mortgage lending with Guaranteed Rate Affinity. In the banking industry, she progressed through positions in customer service, lending, closing and underwriting before moving on to the wholesale side of mortgage lending and eventually to loan origination.
With 30 years of experience in finance and lending, Bowar has earned multiple accolades, including the 1% Mortgage Originator Award and multiple President’s Club awards. Most recently, she was named MVP for the West Coast region. She attributes her success to her extensive experience and recently became a Certified Mortgage Advisor. She is tenacious in getting her clients’ loans closed efficiently and on time.
Bowar is passionate about helping clients build wealth through homeownership and realizes that finding individual solutions to match each client’s unique financial goals is part of her personalized service, as she wants her clients to understand all of their options and strategies to meet their short- and long-term financial goals. She guides them through the home-buying process and works to come up with solutions to even the most difficult roadblocks in getting to the closing table.

Bowar is former president of the National Charity League, a mother-daughter volunteer organization. When she’s not working, the official empty nester can be found in the desert playing tennis and golf, on an off-road Jeep adventure, traveling or spending time with her three grown children.
