Having worked in his family’s landscaping business since a young age, Brian Side learned the value of hard work and client service early on. A former financial advisor, Side was recruited into real estate right out of college. When given the challenge of hosting an open house on his first day, he ended up selling the home that very same day. A decade later, his reputation for client-centrism precedes him. “My goal is to transform real estate into a white-glove experience for all clients, at all price points, all the time,” he says.
A Washington native, Side serves a wide range of clients in the Seattle metro area. He prides himself on his ability to adapt and help a unique client base build legacies of generational wealth through real estate. His mostly referral and network-based clients have reflected on his friendly demeanor and ability to offer expert market insights to empower their decision making. Describing himself and his team, Side says, “We are teachers and advisors just as much as negotiators and analysts.”
Side credits his award-winning team of highly skilled, multilingual professionals for supporting his process-driven style and helping him maintain maximum efficiency. The team at Side’s boutique brokerage, Upside Properties, was awarded Seattle’s Best Team by Seattle Agent Magazine last year. They were also the No. 1 team with their prior firm two years in a row. Side individually ranked amongst the top 1% of brokers with Northwest Multiple Listing Service and achieved International President’s Circle status as well as multiple top rankings with his previous firm. He is also a member of the National Association of Realtors and is certified as both a Luxury Home Marketing and Negotiation Specialist.
A lifelong learner, Side stays on top of emerging industry strategies, technology and trends, and helps develop others through speaking engagements and coaching fellow agents. In his spare time, he enjoys spending quality time with his wife and daughter, and engaging in snow sports, wakeboarding and ice hockey. Also a philanthropist, he’s actively engaged in multiple charitable endeavors, supporting children locally and nationally, as well as Ukrainian families in need.
