Eastrail Flats was among the big winners at the annual Gold Nugget Awards, presented at the Pacific Coast Builders Conference on July 29.
The Woodinville development’s highest honor of the evening was Best Mixed-Use Project, although the project also earned a Merit Award — PCBC’s runner-up distinction — for Best Multi-Family Housing Community (30-60 DU/acre).
Eastrail Flats was built by GenCap Construction and developed by MainStreet Property Group. Architecture was designed by DAHLIN Architecture, while landscape design and civil engineering were handled by Atwell Group. Vida headed the project’s interior design.
Additional Seattle-area projects to win Gold Nugget Awards included Bellevue Club Expansion and Residences, which won Best On-the-Boards Multifamily Community. The development, still in the planning stages, is also designed and planned by DAHLIN Architecture. JTM Construction will build the project, which will be developed by The Bellevue Club. JETT Landscape Architecture + Design will handle landscape design, Kimley Horn will handle civil engineering and Zena Design Group will handle interior design.

The Lones Group and New Home Strategists also won Best Single-Family Detached Home (Under 2,000 Sq. Ft.) for The Sussex at Muirfield in Bellingham.
Among Seattle-area Merit Award recipients, Gables Queen Anne was recognized in the Multifamily Housing Community (100 DU/acre or more) category; Woodland Park Apartments was recognized in the On-the-Boards Multifamily Community category; Toll Brothers was recognized in the Single Family Detached Home (Under 2,000 Sq. Ft.) and Residential Detached Collection of the Year categories for Canopy Cottages; Prime Homes was recognized in the Single Family Detached Home category for its Camano Cottage Plan 1000 design; and The Lones Group and New Home Strategists were recognized in the Single Family Detached Home (2,500 to 3,000 Sq. Ft.) category for The Augusta at Muirfield.
