A founding partner of The Collective at CrossCountry Mortgage, Mason Buckles is known for his detailed approach, coupled with a straightforward and honest delivery. “My partners and I have pushed ourselves hard and we’ve grown to over 100 team members strong across five markets: Washington, Oregon, California, Arizona and Georgia,” he explains. “This has propelled us to be the fourth-highest-producing group in the country at CCM in a very short period of time, and we’re not stopping there.”

A regional vice president and senior loan officer, Buckles has been in the industry for 21 years and is the third generation in his family to work in finance. “It fuels my passion to make an impact in people’s lives every day,” he says. “My practice is to listen first, ask great questions and then craft a strategy to help people accomplish their goals while setting proper expectations to ensure a positive experience.”

Scotsman Guide named Buckles a national top originator by volume from 2020-23. When not working, Buckles enjoys spending time wake surfing. He has supported multiple local nonprofits throughout the years and now asks his team members to choose charities for their organization to support, such as Open Kitchen Redmond.
