Amy Thompson began her career in investment banking at Goldman Sachs. She eventually transitioned from financial technology to becoming a real estate underwriter working with corporate clients. “I really enjoyed the high level of interaction with corporate clients,” Thompson shares. “And now I find it highly rewarding to use my real estate financial background to help clients with their investments on a personal level.”
Managing broker at Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty, Thompson specializes in listing properties and representing buyers, as well as negotiating, throughout Bellevue and Eastside. Originally from Vancouver, British Columbia, she raised her children in the Seattle area, living first in Bothell and then Bellevue. In the industry for 10 years, she is by trade highly focused on yielding the best results for her clients. When federal rates increased by 3 percentage points this past year, Thompson continued to successfully list and sell homes in the highly volatile market thanks to her expertise in marketing and negotiations. Her knowledge grounded on market data and her reputation of dealing with integrity amongst her peers enable her to negotiate well on behalf of her clients.
Thompson’s clients have repeatedly testified that she made the process appear seamless and easy. “I am very hands-on, having the capability to execute and deliver what my clients desire,” she points out. “I keep them well informed with market statistics, my analysis of data stats and the forecasts.” Ultimately, her clients appreciate her customer-centric approach, which she performs with the utmost integrity and loyalty.
Thompson volunteers in the local schools and is passionate about supporting children, parents and staff. In her free time, she enjoys doing CrossFit and playing piano.
