What was your most interesting job before going into real estate?
Elementary school teacher

Where did you grow up?
Seattle

Growing up, what did you want to be?
Growing up I had several family members who were real estate agents, and selling real estate was always a desire of mine. The second “dream” was to be a news reporter or sports announcer.

What do you do to relax when you’re stressed?
As often as I can, I retreat to the pickleball court for great laughs and exercise.

If you could meet any well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why?
Oprah Winfrey. She exudes a positive spirit. I would love to just feel her energy in person and learn from her.

What is Seattle’s best-kept secret?
I would say my favorite hidden gem is either the Three Tree Point Store for yummy eats or Paper Delights for home decor & gift ideas.

What do you love most about the industry?
The people (both fellow professionals and clients) who I get to engage with and help in such a big life investment & journey.

How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents?
I really focus on my local 98166 waterfront niche. I am part of the Belle Residence team and we highlight our community and are actively involved in promoting our wonderful small businesses.

What is the most difficult aspect of your job?
The most difficult aspect of my job is always wanting to provide a smooth transaction for my clients, when sometimes unforeseen “stuff” comes up.

What’s your best advice for generating new leads?
Be yourself and work in lead generation that truly matches your own ideals.

What has been your greatest accomplishment?
Becoming a member of the Belle Residence team.

What are you binge-watching/reading/listening to lately?
I avidly listen to and read anything Wayne Dyer. His message is one of positivity and connection. I find great inspiration from him.

What’s your favorite meal in Seattle?
I have several go-tos that I love…909, Classic Eats for brunch or La Costa.

Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Seattle?
I love any Ralph Anderson design. I am definitely a mid-century enthusiast.

What’s one thing people are surprised to learn about you?
People may be surprised to learn that I have lived my entire life in the Seattle area, including graduating from UW.

What is your favorite vacation spot and why?
I have two … Maui for mid-winter sunshine escape and Pacific Beach in Washington to let my two boxers run and play on our beautiful coast.

In 10 words or less, what is your advice for someone new to the industry?
Be consistent and be yourself.

What’s your favorite real estate iPhone/Android app?
I really enjoy Houzz for design trend ideas.

Luxury Home Seattle and Orca Network. I enjoy tracking our local whale pods.
