The Low Income Housing Institute is set to begin leasing apartments in its newest affordable housing complex, John Fox Place on Aurora Avenue North in Seattle.

“We have 104 units to house both individuals and families who are working in the area,” said LIHI representative Dianne Moreland. “As most people know, housing in Seattle is very expensive, so this is an affordable option for people who are in the workforce and earning close to minimum wage.”

Units at John Fox Place, named after an affordable housing activist, range in size from studios to three-bedrooms. Apartments will be reserved for families and single renters making 30%, 50% and 60% of King County’s median income.

Move-ins are expected to begin in October.
