by Seattle Agent

Where did you grow up?

Seattle.

What was your most interesting job before going into lending?

Behavioral Intervention Specialist.

What do you do to relax when you’re stressed?

Rest, self-care, sit and plan, reorganize, read, watch a movie, travel, etc.

If you could meet any well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why?

I would love to sit and listen and chat with Oprah. I want to listen to her stories, struggles, overcoming, becoming, relationships, everything! I love these types of conversations.

Where is Seattle’s best-kept secret?

The underground area in Chinatown and downtown. It’s creepy, but full of history. Oh, and chocolates! Seattle is home to many delicious treats!

What do you love most about the industry?

Connecting with like-minded individuals and learning what the market is doing and where we might be headed, how we came to be and the lessons, opportunities for growth, collaboration, and so much more!

What is the most difficult aspect of your job?

Mindset. It’s not just about planning, creating, and doing; it’s so important to believe it too. People set a running list of things that may seem like it is so hard to overcome, but unless you can train your mind, it will be difficult to get there.

What are you binge-watching/reading/listening to lately?

I love self-help, inspiring, growth books. Anything from Brene Brown, John Maxwell, and many more. When I’m driving alone, I listen to audiobooks or podcasts (ones about the real estate, mortgage, growth, stories that I connect with and/or things that make me laugh). I like to binge-watch Korean dramas, heartfelt movies, or action movies

What’s your favorite meal in Seattle?

Korean BBQ or a delicious bowl of Bun Bo Hue or Pho.

Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Seattle?

Pretty typical, but my favorite building is the Space Needle. It’s unique and a staple to the city.

What’s the weirdest thing that’s ever happened to you on the job?

Hmm…so many weird things happen! Maybe when I was walking into what I thought was a business meeting, but the other person treated it like it was a date. That was awkward.

What’s one thing people might be surprised to learn about you?

While I am an extrovert, I cherish and love my alone time and peace.

What’s your favorite vacation spot and why?

There are so many places I still would love to travel to, but it would definitely be a place where there is sun and a beach. I love returning to Hawaii, San Diego and Cabo.

In 10 words or less, what is your advice for someone new to the lending industry?

Be knowledgeable, be resourceful, and understand your systems.
