“I get to run the play and be a pro at helping clients navigate the home-buying process,” she says. Messmer’s brother introduced her to the industry, teaching her how to serve and help families build wealth through homeownership.

“I was driven to mortgages because I loved working with my brother,” she says. “Everyone deserves a home and it’s my responsibility to show them how to become a homeowner.”

All 128 of her reviews on Zillow are five stars, an achievement she credits to having systems in place that all clients go through to ensure nothing is overlooked. “We don’t have problems at the 11th hour,” she says. “We underwrite upfront. Get preapproval of the client’s ideal and maximum buying power and teach clients how to increase their buying power. I communicate with them every week during a Tuesday Update call, to let them know what’s next, until they reach the finish line.”
