Ming Fung, Co-Founder

Vibrant Cities

As a developer with more than a decade’s experience, Ming Fung assists, co-invests and collaborates with those seeking portfolio growth in the Seattle metro area. A 20-year resident herself, she holds a special appreciation for the region and strives to help others share in its expansion and dynamism. Fung worked internationally in accounting and finance out of college, honing her business acumen. She later decided to capitalize on her long-held interest in real estate, making the leap to the industry by co-founding Vibrant Cities. With a true developer’s spirit, she notes, “I enjoy building communities people feel proud to call home.”

Fung’s specialties are commercial real estate development, leveraging high-performance teams and structuring debt financing. Her clientele and colleagues consider her “a steward in the development community who maintains clarity of thought and mission, even through shifting markets and unforeseen challenges.” She credits her creativity and economics experience as central to her success, which is reflected in her unique flair for optimizing the use of space to create functional designs while maintaining affordability.

“Fung is savvy in sales, politics and relationships, which are critical when working through challenging market conditions and homebuyer dynamics,” enthuses another colleague. Fung is proud to have led and closed over $100 million in funding and negotiated extensions exceeding that for multiple projects. Additionally, she has managed a construction budget of nearly $400 million. However, she shares that, for her, “the greatest accomplishment is still seeing homeowners at our newly completed Infinity Shore Club condominium project hang out on their waterfront balconies to watch the sunset with wine and huge smiles.”

A member of the Commercial Real Estate Development Association, Fung was named Dealmaker of the Year by the Puget Sound Business Journal. She enjoys celebrating milestones with her clients and looks forward to her next project.
