After moving to the Seattle area in 2006, Merna Elaggar started her career in interior design. However, she found her true passion and calling in real estate, helping her clients create lifelong memories in their new homes.
Now, with more than seven years of experience in real estate, and having lived in Seattle’s Eastside for more than 17 years, Elaggar leverages her vast knowledge of the local market and her background in architecture and interior design to serve her clients. “Being well versed in these areas really gives me more insight and perspective to help me advise my clients,” she shares. Elaggar’s flexible business style, communication skills and keen ability to negotiate have been instrumental in her success and network growth. Known for her client-first approach, kind demeanor and strong work ethic, her entirely referral-based clientele appreciates the personalized service they receive.
Elaggar considers the expansion of her team to be her biggest recent professional accomplishment, resulting in $50 million in sales for 2022, her highest to date. She has been named a Five Star Professional for the past four years and was featured on the cover of Top Agent Magazine, Washington edition, in 2022 as Top Broker of the Year. Additionally, she has participated as an industry expert on radio talk shows and been featured in publications including the Seattle Times Magazine, Fortune 500 and Forbes.
Besides playing the piano, Elaggar enjoys volleyball and cooking. A philanthropist who supports numerous organizations, including St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Mary’s Place, Coptic Orphans and the Windermere Foundation, the busy wife and mom of two also enjoys hosting events — both big and small. Elaggar is a key member of the St. Thomas School community, where she co-chaired the school’s “Completing Our Campus” committee and hosts an annual Egyptian-themed dinner to help raise funds for the school.
