Margot Wallen is a force to be reckoned with in the Greater Seattle and Eastside markets. Her strength lies in residential properties, from single-family homes to new constructions, condos to co-ops and even floating homes.
A true-blue Seattleite, Wallen’s love for the city is palpable. “I’ve lived in Seattle my entire life and truly love it here,” she says. Wallen’s path to real estate was rooted in her entrepreneurial spirit. Early in her career, she worked in marketing consulting, event planning and even crafted her own line of illustrated greeting cards.
More recently, Wallen’s 15 years of experience in corporate tech set the stage for her real estate career. Working with senior executive leadership at Amazon, Nordstrom and Getty Images, she was successful by delivering results at a high bar. Those successes were grounded in how she connected with people. “The skills I developed to build and maintain relationships in my corporate life are now a superpower for my real estate career,” she reflects. “I got into real estate because of my entrepreneurial drive, coupled with the joy I get from gaining trust and helping people.”
Wallen’s proudest accomplishment is her consistent business growth, even amid changing economic and market conditions. Her real estate success can be attributed to her unique ability to swiftly build and maintain trust with her clients. “My clients say I put their best interests first always,” she observes. Wallen’s business style is a blend of organization and humor, ensuring that clients do not feel overwhelmed by the intricacies of real estate transactions.
Wallen believes in giving back, donating a portion of each closed transaction to Seattle-area animal shelters. She enjoys staying active and expressing her creativity through fashion. Wallen deeply appreciates her line of work: “I’ve never enjoyed work so much — I feel lucky to be in this career.”
