Joyce Juntunen, Founding Member, Broker

Ensemble

Growing up in the Northeast, Joyce Juntunen often accompanied her Realtor mom on property tours as a young girl and then worked in her mom’s office each summer as a teenager. She always knew she would become a Realtor herself one day, even when she moved to Seattle in the 1990s, where she enjoyed a 20-year career in sales, leadership, and coaching first.

Five years ago, she was ready to take the leap, and in 2022 Juntunen had her busiest and best year yet in real estate, thanks largely to her extensive sales and negotiation experience, along with her well-honed leadership skills. “The ability to quickly build relationships with a listing or selling broker on the other side of a transaction can make the difference in whether your client gets the house or gets the offers they want for their home,” she shares. “My experience in sales and leadership prior to my real estate career has definitely been a huge advantage for my clients as it gives me the relationship and negotiation skills that get them what they want.”

Juntunen thrives on the complexity and need for problem-solving inherent in each real estate deal. She recognizes that people usually buy or sell because of a big change in their lives and appreciates being able to make a real impact on the lives of her clients and their families. And when a deal is done, she shares, “I love to deliver ‘white glove’ service and reduce the stress of moving.”

Collaboration comes easily to Juntunen, who notes that her fellow brokers and her roster of contacts are all important members of the team helping her clients reach their goals. She frequently partners with colleagues at Ensemble.

Last year, Juntunen bought her first investment property. She is active in the community as a volunteer for local nonprofits and as a Boston University Seattle Alumni.
