Born and raised in Bellevue, Dehlan Gwo has built a real estate career that has taken him to Asia, and home to Seattle, and from residential sales to real estate development and back again over the past 10 years. Before his current role, he was a director at the development firm Create World, behind high-rise projects such as The Emerald in downtown Seattle and MARI in Bellevue. “I shared the same markets as the developer clients I now serve,” Gwo explains.
Gwo is happy to be back in project marketing and sales, where his passion lies, at Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty. “It’s combining the art of marketing and sales, with the science of the business of development, for our clients,” he says. As vice president of new developments, Gwo leads a talented team of sales agents, project managers and marketers who work together to provide a turnkey solution for developers, from market research to presales to successful sellouts, whether it’s a high-rise condominium tower in the city or a new community in the suburbs.
“Our clients are visionaries,” Gwo shares. “It’s my job to align their vision with the market, and to help move their projects from concept to delivery of new homes, by bringing together the right plan, people and processes.”
A graduate of the University of Washington’s Foster School of Business, Gwo recently returned to UW to pursue a Master of Science in Real Estate degree (MSRE). When he isn’t selling or studying, he can be found chasing salmon, steelhead and trout throughout the waters of the Pacific Northwest.
