The third time was the charm for Christine Madrid. Her first couple of jobs were in business-to-business sales, where she developed invaluable skills in building relationships with clients. She was introduced to mortgage lending by a friend in the industry who told her she’d make a great loan officer. Though it was funny to her at the time, Madrid’s next career transition would find her in that exact role. Seventeen years later, she leads two teams with a focus on customer service and client education.
Madrid serves borrowers in Washington and Arizona with specialties in condominium and new construction lending. Her reputation for strong knowledge and communication, coupled with impeccable customer service and on-time closes underscore her success in the field. Having been promoted to lead the National Condominium Division for her current firm, she successfully steers the division while still leading the way as a top producer of loan originations for the company.
Each of Madrid’s client interactions is infused with the highest integrity and the benefit of her nearly two decades of experience. Proud to lead seasoned teams that deliver on their promises, she enjoys consulting with clients when issues arise and helping her team move quickly through the documentation process. Madrid’s business is mostly referral-based, receiving new clientele from former clients, as well as from her vast professional network. Her success in the industry has led to accolades, such as being named among the Top 1% of loan originators and the Top 500 women in lending by Scotsman Guide. She has also been named among the Top 100 Latino loan officers by the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals.
Having recently seen her final child off to college, Madrid looks forward to exploring philanthropic opportunities in her spare time as she continues to grow in her career.
