Kirkland-based Curtis Capital Group acquired The Francis, a 22-unit apartment community in Fremont, for $7 million.
Trimark Property Group sold the property, which is located at 3636 Francis Ave. N. Matt Laird and Jack Shephard of Kidder Mathews’ Simon | Anderson Multifamily Team represented Trimark.
Built in 1988, The Francis offers a mix of studio, one- and two-bedroom units. The building has updated building systems and offers a cosmetic value-add opportunity in a well-located neighborhood defined by strong renter demand, Kidder Mathews said in an announcement. The Francis is near the Burke-Gilman Trail, Fremont Sunday Market, Woodland Park and Seattle Pacific University.
“Fremont remains one of Seattle’s most sought-after neighborhoods, and well-positioned buildings like The Francis rarely trade,” Laird said. “This transaction reflects the continued depth of investor demand for quality multifamily investments in the city’s urban core, assets that are difficult to replicate and located where renters consistently want to live. We were pleased to represent Trimark Property Group and deliver a smooth transaction with a great buyer.”
