by Patrick Regan

Seattle, Tacoma and Everett all ranked among the top 60 cities in the U.S. for creatives and topped the ratings among Washington communities, according to an analysis from Workamajig.

The project management software company assessed every city in the U.S. with a population over 100,000 people and measured them in various categories connected to creativity. Those include museums per capita, the number of jobs in industries such as marketing, arts and design, number of artists and musicians, plus film and music festivals per capita.

Seattle ranked No. 31 overall and Tacoma was No. 38. Both led the state with nine museums apiece.

Everett was No. 59 and was noted for its four museums, three music festivals and one film festival, combining for a large number of such events in a community of about 110,000. Bellevue ranked No. 104.

Atlanta was No. 1 overall, followed by Miami and Portland, Oregon.
