Southern California.
What was your most interesting job before going into lending?
Promoting gas service stations, selling their coupon books door to door.
What do you do to relax when you’re stressed?
Drink fine red wine with friends. Golf at the club or watch sports on TV.
If you could meet any well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why?
Pat Tillman. Amazing football player who gave up professional football to go to war and fight for our freedom and lost his life in doing so.
Where is Seattle’s best-kept secret?
Snoqualmie Falls.
What do you love most about the industry?
We get to assist families purchase the American dream.
What is the most difficult aspect of your job?
Making sure we close on time with so many outside sources you have to rely on. We have no control over appraisers, escrow, title and insurance schedules. I make it a priority to make sure we have a team effort from all parties to get to the finish line on time.
What are you binge-watching/reading/listening to lately?
Billions, Ozark and Yellowstone.
What’s your favorite meal in Seattle?
Daniel’s filet and lobster tail.
Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Seattle?
Columbia Tower.
What’s the weirdest thing that’s ever happened to you on the job?
Thinking I was on mute and I wasn’t — oops!
What’s your favorite vacation spot and why?
Lake Tahoe. A peaceful place to relax and spend time with family.
