What is Seattle’s best-kept secret?
Running the six-mile loop around Lake Union in the morning. The trail is flat, quiet and right on the water. Plus, there are great views of the city as you run through various neighborhoods.

What do you love most about the industry?
Finding the perfect place for a buyer and bringing several offers above the listing price to a seller.

How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents?
Super-serve my clients.

What is the most difficult aspect of your job?
Dealing with trivial issues stuck in underwriting.

What’s your best advice for generating new leads?
Referrals

What has been your greatest accomplishment?
After closing multi-million dollar deals over several years, I’m still fond of handing keys to an immigrant family when their first house closed just days before Christmas.

What’s your favorite meal in Seattle?
The duck at Canlis and the burger royale at Palace Kitchen.

What’s the weirdest thing that’s ever happened to you on the job?
At a showing, a ferocious cat sat inside the entry and wouldn’t let us leave the house. My buyers and I had to use a broom to block its attacks as we made our exit.

What’s one thing people are surprised to learn about you?
I have two successful full-time jobs over decades in radio and real estate.

What is your favorite vacation spot and why?
Maui is the perfect place with seclusion and action.
