That’s why Lorie Cantu Wiest is deeply proud of her dedicated team of title and escrow professionals, who work hard to simplify the process not only for homebuyers and sellers, but also for the real estate agents, loan officers, attorneys and developers who come together to complete the transaction. Cantu who has spent 17 of her 20 years in the industry with Fidelity National Title, is driven by the relationships she has built over the years. “For me, taking care of my clients, whom I truly see as more than just clients, but friends, is what keeps me passionate about this business,” she shares.
Cantu learned the value of a strong work ethic from her family and developed the customer-care fundamentals of follow-through, kindness and listening from her early career at Nordstrom. Alongside her trusted village of title and escrow professionals, she is invested in the outcome of each transaction she is involved in. “When my clients are selling homes, there’s always a story behind it,” Cantu explains. “People go through a variety of life events, and I’m passionate about working closely with them, whether it’s navigating a challenging transaction, celebrating a big win or brainstorming ways to grow their business. This is why I do what I do.”
The West Seattle resident has ranked among Fidelity’s top five in sales in Washington since 2010 and is a member of the Women’s Council of Realtors, LGBTQ+ Real Estate Alliance and West Seattle Chamber of Commerce. She and her husband work hard and play hard, especially with their Rhodesian ridgeback, Freddy. Cantu enjoys traveling, and her motto is, “See the world before you leave the world.”
