Movement Mortgage hosted Grab the Key, an event focused on advancing Black homeownership, at the Tukwila Community Center on Sept. 23.
Speakers included Jordan Babineaux, former NFL athlete and Seattle Seahawk, as well as Montell Watson, vice president of diverse lending and market expansion for Movement Mortgage, and President Steve Smith.
The event panel also featured State Rep. Jamila Taylor; Brooks Glenn, president of Western Washington Realtist and director of inclusion for Windermere; Lisa DeBrock, director of homeownership for the Washington State Housing Finance Commission; Gio Cervantes, vice president of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals; and Nicole Bascomb, owner and broker of Bascomb Real Estate.
