Cherry Valley Winery on sale for $2.6M

by Lindsey Wells

Wine connoisseurs in search of a winery to call their own may be in luck, as this $2.6 million winery estate is up for grabs just 16 miles northeast of Seattle.

Located in Duvall, Cherry Valley Winery sits on over four acres boasting a tasting room, according to the listing on Realtor.com.

Upon purchase, a buyer would acquire access to the winery’s current wine club membership list, all winemaking equipment and software and the existing inventory of wine bottles. The current owners and winemaker will also mentor the buyer on winemaking.

“All the legwork has been done for you,” according to the listing, which describes the winery as an opportunity for “instant cash flow” for potential buyers.

The winery was built in 1999 and purchased by its current owners in 2012 for $699,900. They re-opened the winery for business in 2013.

Cherry Valley Winery now produces 11 wines, including a mix of whites, rosé and reds. Wines are hand-crafted from vine to bottle and made with fruit sourced from carefully tended vineyards, according to the winery’s website.

With four en suite bedrooms and five-and-a-half bathrooms, the location has bed-and-breakfast potential. It also includes a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace in the living room, adjacent to the kitchen, which is complete with a large island and chef-grade appliances.

Other amenities include an attached garage, six covered parking spaces and a modernized laundry room.
