Tri Pointe Homes Washington hit a milestone with the sale of its 20,000th home in the state.
The home, located in the Alterra master-planned community in Newcastle, was purchased by a couple expecting their first child on the day they closed.
“We couldn’t imagine a better place to bring our baby home to, and we love that our family is part of this milestone, too,” the couple said in a press release.

Tri Pointe Homes Washington sold its 20,000th home in the state to a young couple expecting their first baby. They closed on their due date.
Tri Pointe Homes Washington is currently building in Redmond, Snoqualmie, Newcastle, Bothell and North Bend. The company, previously known for four decades as Quadrant Homes, was founded in 1969 and acquired by Weyerhaeuser Real Estate Company. The builder became a part of the Tri Pointe portfolio after the national builder’s acquisition of Weyerhaeuser in July 2014.
“Reaching our 20,000th home in Washington is a meaningful milestone because it reflects decades of trusted relationships with buyers, trade partners and communities across the Puget Sound region,” said Ken Krivanec, division president for Tri Pointe in Washington and Utah. “While the market has changed dramatically over the years, our focus has been consistent: understanding what local buyers want and designing homes for how they live.”
