What was your most interesting job before going into real estate?
I was a title rep in my 20s, back when it was fun, and we found wine and dine clients, take them golfing and skiing. It was a blast.

Everett, Washington
Growing up, what did you want to be?
A teacher, a lawyer or an actress. All things I play out in my real estate career.
What do you do to relax when you’re stressed?
Take a day drive to one of the islands.
If you could meet any well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why?
Elton John. Just because.
What is Seattle’s best-kept secret?
All the hidden waterfalls I see on Instagram that I have yet to find!
What do you love most about the industry?
Being my own boss and the ability to bet on myself each day.
How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents?
Integrity and knowledge.
What is the most difficult aspect of your job?
Dealing with a lot of egos in the industry.
What’s your best advice for generating new leads?
Be people-oriented and focused first. Put online lead gen second.
What has been your greatest accomplishment?
My kind-hearted children.
What are you binge-watching/reading/listening to lately?
“True Detective.” It’s so creepy but I can’t stop watching.
What’s your favorite meal in Seattle?
This is so hard! I love a good meal at Matt’s in The Market. Everything is so good!
Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Seattle?
The sanctuary attached to Lotte Hotel.
What’s the weirdest thing that’s ever happened to you on the job?
The creepy things I find in basements!
What’s one thing people are surprised to learn about you?
I love to laugh and find weird humor awesome.
What is your favorite vacation spot and why?
I’m a Hawaii girl. I think it’s the pace. It’s slow and the people are so warm and welcoming.

Be honest. Be real. Be knowledgeable.
