What was your most interesting job before going into real estate?
Before real estate I worked as a concierge in luxury high-rise residential towers in Downtown Bellevue, which introduced me to city living and the growth and investment potential of real estate in and surrounding major cities.
Where did you grow up?
I grew up in a suburb in Puyallup, which gave me a social and active childhood competing in sports, attending crowded schools and visiting the Washington State Fair every year. Looking back, I was able to watch a city grow from vacant, forested land to what it is today being a prosperous city.
Growing up, what did you want to be?
Career choices I had in mind varied from becoming a registered nurse to being a journalist. All that changed when I moved to the city and started a business that completely changed my life and perspective on opportunity.
What do you do to relax when you’re stressed?
When overwhelmed, I gravitate towards playing with my puppies and taking them on a walk or visiting water, usually Lake Washington’s waterfront. Being around water calms my energy and lighting candles at home tends to do the same.
If you could meet any well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why?
Sitting down with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. would be profound. Loving people for who they are and soaking up gems of leadership and how I could implement his wisdom to impact others the way he did would be an honor.
What is Seattle’s best-kept secret?
By far Seattle’s best kept secret are the hidden parks along Lake Washington and the Puget Sound. After finding a hidden gem of a view one day, I began to pull up Google Maps and zoom in along the waterfront looking for green public land. I began to find countless accessible neighborhood parks providing the most stunning views and found them to be less crowded than the well-known touristy parks. Even the smallest sliver of green can offer a secret place to admire Seattle’s beauty and gather your thoughts.
What do you love most about the industry?
Being able to educate and improve people’s lives through real estate from the return on their investment is indescribable and what I love most about being in this industry. Knowing that my clients are putting their hard earned money to grow further to be able to use for future trips, children’s education, taking care of family, etc. is incredibly fulfilling.
How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents?
There are thousands and thousands of agents. What I take pride in is the value I provide to everyone. You don’t have to work with me to get insight or ask questions. I’m an open book and willing to share my resources to help you. The people I end up working with become lifelong friends and know that anything they need, I’m there.
What is the most difficult aspect of your job?
The most difficult part of the job is finding a work/life balance. For the last 8 years, I have been so focused on my career and the past 2 years I’ve finally cultivated a great balance and it has been the best 2 years of my life.
What’s your best advice for generating new leads?
Follow up on every inquiry someone has. If they are inquiring or asking a question, it is extremely important to them. Don’t take someone reaching out to you lightly. Feel honored and do everything you can to nurture their questions and goals.
What has been your greatest accomplishment?
My greatest accomplishments have been investing in real estate and applying my skillset to plan for retirement and creating passive income.
What are you binge-watching/reading/listening to lately?
I’m reading “Redefining Possible” currently and recently just finished watching the most recent season of the show that feels never ending, “Manifest” on Netflix.
What’s your favorite meal in Seattle?
This is tough as a foodie and lover of all cuisines. The food scene in Seattle is spectacular. Anything you could possible want you can get.
Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Seattle?
Without being inside or acknowledging EVERY building in Seattle, I would say my favorite building is UW’s world class library. It brings a feeling of Hogwarts and is absolutely a sight to see!
What’s the weirdest thing that’s ever happened to you on the job?
The weirdest things that have happened to me on the job I’m not able to disclose, but if you reach out to my on Instagram or Facebook, I’ll share privately.
What’s one thing people are surprised to learn about you?
Being dually licensed as real estate agent in both Washington state and Arizona state and owning several investment properties.
What is your favorite vacation spot and why?
I don’t think I have visited my favorite vacation spot yet. There are plenty places I wish to see, Greece being at the top of that list but for now, Maui is my happy place.

Hustle. Stand out. Answer every question. Follow up on everything.
What’s your favorite real estate iPhone/Android app?
Offer Up is one of my favorite apps to help my clients sell furniture and items they don’t plan on moving with them and to clear up space. They love it because it gives them cash for their move and the items are going to a good home.
