Four Washington-based brokerages cracked the top 25 in the annual RealTrends 500 top brokerages by volume.

eXp Realty, based in Bellingham, led the way at No. 4 on the list with $132 billion in sales volume and more than 355,000 transactions in 2021. Redfin, based in Seattle, was No. 5 with $72 billion in volume and 56,000 transactions.

Nationally, Compass, Realogy Brokerage Group and HomeServices of America Inc. took the top three spots for volume.

John L. Scott in Bellevue was No. 16 on the list, at $12.4 billion in volume and more than 19,000 transactions. 

No. 25 was Coldwell Banker Bain in Bellevue, at a volume of $8.3 billion and nearly 11,000 transactions.
