Born and raised in Seattle, Rachel Olson grew up around real estate, watching her parents build homes and learning creative problem-solving skills from them. After starting her career as a mortgage underwriter, she transitioned to being a licensed loan officer. This strong foundation in mortgage finance ultimately led Olson to pursue her true passion for real estate full time, where her financial expertise plays a vital role in advising clients.

Olson’s business style is defined by her responsiveness and commitment to making the home buying and selling process seamless for her clients. She specializes in helping first-time homebuyers, investors and builders, primarily focusing on single-family homes and land in Seattle, Bellevue, Kirkland and Redmond. Known for her creative strategy and with a stream of repeat clientele, Olson provides personalized advice whether she’s negotiating deals for buyers or preparing sellers to list their homes. She leads a team of seven agents on her team The Rachel Olson Group, all of whom collaborate to ensure success in every transaction.

In 2018, Olson was named a Rising Star by Seattle Real Producers magazine. She is also a member of the Seattle Executives Association, an executive networking group. Olson’s unique approach, especially during market downturns, has allowed her to secure innovative deals, such as negotiating seller financing with favorable terms for her investor clients.

After returning from maternity leave last year, Olson adapted to a stagnant market by focusing on off-market transactions, targeting builders and flippers. This strategic shift helped her secure consistent deals while maintaining the work-life balance that allowed for quality time with her family. She enjoys spending time with her 2-year-old daughter, McKenzie, her husband, Cole, and their labradoodle named Phinney. You can typically find her enjoying Lake Chelan in the summer and skiing in Sun Valley in the winter.
