Julie Jones isn’t just a lender; she’s on a mission to create legacies. At the heart of Jones’ journey is a deep desire to build something lasting. “I believe that everyone deserves a fair shot at home ownership,” she says, adding that her commitment to this principle stems from her upbringing and experiences. “My mom was a schoolteacher and my father was a real estate agent. I like to say that I merged their careers into mine.”

Jones’ path to becoming a senior loan officer and branch leader of one of the top-producing branches at Movement Mortgage began in college when she helped open a Habitat for Humanity chapter on her campus. She also worked as a VISTA volunteer for homelessness prevention, which highlighted the transformative power of home ownership. “One of the most-powerful things that affirmed my passion for home ownership was how much stability it provides,” she reflects. “I love giving someone the opportunity to share in the wealth that home appreciation provides.”

Jones’ professional accolades are impressive. She has been a fixture in the President’s Club and CEO Circle for the past 20 years and was recognized as a Scotsman Guide Loan Originator for her high-volume work.

If it’s all serious all the time, there’s no space for someone to breathe.”

As a mother of two daughters, Jones strives to set an example of hard work and success. “I hope to show them what it looks like to succeed, to care, to work hard and even play and have fun,” she says.
