For Andrew Jackson, real estate isn’t really about the sale. It’s about providing education and counsel as clients make the decisions that will help them ultimately reach their goals. “To me, real estate is more than a home. It is where you create your memories throughout your life,” Jackson shares. “Helping a client start off in the right direction as they build their investment portfolio and create the memories of their lives is what fulfills me and makes my career worthwhile.”
The Seattle native has been educating and counseling clients for 25 years, having come to real estate from the hospitality industry, where the face-to-face client interactions that he thought he’d have as a corporate hotel manager soon gave way to office work and spreadsheets. He quickly pivoted to real estate, which gave him the human connection he craved and the opportunity to combine his operations background with his sincere desire to help others in the city where he grew up.
As an expert at evaluating property for potential return on investment, Jackson applies his skills and his genuine concern for others to ensure that clients feel taken care of, even if it means he has to challenge them to think about what’s truly best for them. “If I feel that they are choosing a property that is not meeting their goals, I am not shy about telling them, ‘No. This is not the right house to meet your goals,’ or ‘This is not the right time to sell this property,’” he explains.
Jackson loves hiking, snowshoeing and snowmobiling in the backcountry of the national forest with his family. However, his recently completed home and extensively landscaped property are his favorite places to relax. “My home is where my soul recharges,” he shares.
