Building permits were recently approved for The Grove by reSpace, a co-homeownership development in Seattle’s Ballard neighborhood.
reSpace is offering eight private residences across three buildings and two accessory dwelling units. The developer’s co-ownership framework will allow owners to build equity with individual mortgages and exit rights while sharing communal living spaces, like kitchens, living rooms and parking. Prices for ownership suites range from $179,000 to $299,950.
“Homeownership should not be a luxury reserved for the few,” reSpace founder and CEO Katrina Eileen Romatowski said in a press release. “Our co-homeownership model turns today’s co-living demand into tomorrow’s equity, delivering privacy, community and price points that make sense in real neighborhoods.”
