Realtors Relief Foundation raises $500K for Texas flood aid

by Emily Marek

The Realtors Relief Foundation, a nonprofit run by the National Association of REALTORS®, raised half a million dollars for victims of the floods that hit south central Texas in early to mid-July.

“Following the tragic floods in Texas, we at the National Association of REALTORS® and the Realtors Relief Foundation are heartbroken at the lives lost and the communities devastated,” RRF President Greg Hrabcak said in a press release.

“We know that the recovery efforts will take time and commitment, and we are working closely with Texas REALTORS® and local Realtor associations to make sure that the $500,000 we are providing goes toward supporting communities in areas affected by the flooding,” Hrabcak continued. “NAR and RRF stand with Texans today, tomorrow, and in the months and years to come as we rebuild together.”

RRF receives funding through donations from NAR members, Realtor associations and other community members. One hundred percent of donations go toward disaster relief.

Donations can be made by texting RRF4TX25 to 71777, or online at rrf.realtor.
