Five agents return to Windermere from Compass

by Emily Marek

Five Seattle real estate agents recently returned to Windermere Real Estate after time with Compass: Meg Barlament, Kevin Cunningham, Ingrid Haugaard, Darcy LaBelle and Beathe Smith.

“We’re very excited to welcome these five agents back to Windermere,” Co-President OB Jacobi said in a press release. “While each agent had a unique reason for returning, they all said they missed the experience of being a part of the collaborative, supportive community that Windermere provides its agents. We’re honored they feel that way and to welcome them back to the Windermere family.”

Barlament has 11 years of experience and returned to Windermere in June after five months with Compass.

“Every Realtor has their own comfort level when it comes to community,” Barlament shared. “During my time away, I realized just how much the Windermere community means to me.”

Cunningham has a degree in economics and transitioned into real estate in 2018, returning to Windermere in May after a year at Compass. Haugaard spent three years at Compass and returned in April.

Meanwhile, both LaBelle and Smith — who each have over 20 years of industry experience — returned to Compass earlier this year after four and three years with Compass, respectively.

LaBelle said recent attacks on the NWMLS were the “final straw” and a turning point in her decision to return to Windermere.

“My business wasn’t aligned with their business direction,” said LaBelle. “My philosophy is centered on service, where the client comes first and transparency is a top priority, and I strongly believe in fair housing.”
