Seattle-area builders and developers, including Merit Homes and The Cottage Companies, were among the top winners at the 2025 Golden Nugget Awards, an annual honor from the Pacific Coast Builders Conference.
Merit Homes won a Gold Award — the highest honor — for Best Multifamily Housing Community, 30 to 60 Dwelling Units per Acre, for Bloom – Rose Hill in Kirkland.
The Cottage Company received Gold Awards in two residential categories: Best Single Family Detached Home Under 2,000 Square Feet, and Best Suburban Infill Solution, both for Thornton Creek Commons.
Thornton Creek Commons was also recognized with the Award of Merit — PCBC’s runner-up recognition — for Residential Detached Collection of the Year.
Several other Seattle-area builders and developers received Merit awards for single-family homebuilding, including Tri Pointe Homes, Legacy Capital and Brikat Homes.
In multifamily categories, Seattle-area developers including Lake Union Partners, MainStreet Property Group and Vulcan Real Estate won Merit awards.
