Founded in 2008 during the Great Recession, Movement Mortgage has grown from a team of four to over 4,500 employees and 775 loan officers nationwide — 83 of whom operate in the Puget Sound area. Movement prides itself on being an “impact lender,” meaning it returns a significant portion of its profits to the communities it serves. In 2024, Movement donated 49% of its profits or $402 million to local causes, which served 63,125 families and 1,700 students, as well as fully funded six schools.
