These Seattle-area cities have the fastest-growing home prices

by Emily Marek

Using data from Zillow, news media outlet Stacker analyzed 89 cities in the Seattle-Tacoma-Bellevue metropolitan area to determine which had the fastest-growing typical home prices.

While most of the cities on the list are also among the most-expensive cities to live in the Seattle area, one marginally less expensive city proved to be one of the areas with the fastest-growing typical prices. A typical home in Skykomish runs about $476,000, which is significantly less than many of the other more expensive cities in the Seattle metro area. However, typical home values in Skykomish have more than doubled from five years ago.
