Hal Bennett, Agent & Broker

COMPASS

Hal Bennett believes you don’t have to be the smartest person in the room to win, just the most determined.

“I’ve always had a commitment to excellence, which has driven my customer satisfaction,” says Bennett, a top-producing agent and broker with COMPASS. “Having sold a lot of homes, provided great service, and the added ingredient of time have really propelled my career.”

A member of the National Association of Realtors, Bennett has been recognized by RealTrends magazine as the No. 1 agent in the Greater Seattle area and the No. 4 agent in the state of Washington. His introduction to real estate happened by accident. He was outside walking his dog along a trail and ran into a former customer, a top agent looking to expand her team. “She asked me if I ever thought of getting into real estate. I said, ‘No, I don’t think that would be something I’d be interested in,’” he recalls. “She thought I’d be really good at it and insisted that I come speak with her and her team at their office. I did, and the rest is history.”

He started his career nearly ten years ago, “old school style,” knocking on doors and cold-calling. While he admitted it was tough, he says the most successful agents are willing to do whatever it takes, and his work ethic never wavers. He pays attention to detail, advocates for clients, is always available to answer questions and never stops working at promoting their homes. Lately, he has been most proud of putting together a top team of agents committed to excellence, client service and marketing.

A resident of Kirkland, Bennett assists buyers and sellers at all price points in Bellevue, Kirkland, Issaquah, Sammamish, Redmond, Snoqualmie, Fall City, Newcastle, Seattle, Mercer Island, Renton and Bothell. Secondary areas include Kent, Federal Way, Tacoma, Puyallup and Gig Harbor.

When time permits, he enjoys playing golf and traveling.
